Yvette Marie Hall-Barnes

Yvette Marie Hall Barnes, 54, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on January 2, 2025, after a valiant fight with cancer. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and dear friend, many of which she considered her family.

A Celebration of Life for Yvette will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. 

Yvette was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on July 29, 1970, to Donna Marie McCormick Goss and Jess Willard Hall Jr. 

She attended Christ Our King-Stella Maris Catholic Church and she graduated from Bishop England High School and the University of South Carolina. Yvette and her husband, Sean, built a beautiful life together in Mount Pleasant. She worked in their family business, Docks Unlimited- Sea Power Marine Products as a Controlling Agent. However, she was most proud of the daughter they raised together.

Beautiful Yvette was preceded in death by her cherished Mother, Donna Maria McCormick Goss and her Father, Jerry Hall.

She is survived by her Husband, Sean; Daughter, Sophia; and Stepson, Sean (Chandler).

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctor, nurses, friends, and others who provided care and support during her illness.
