Woodrow Carroll 'Woody' Welch

CHARLESTON--Woodrow “Woody” Carroll Welch, 40, passed away February 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born on November 22, 1973 in Charleston, the son of Calvin Benjamin Welch and Dale Evans Porter Welch. Woody was the first born of triplets. He was an avid motorcycle rider and an active member of Charleston Baptist church. He was sincerely devoted to his family. He is survived by his parents, Calvin and Dale Welch of Charleston and one sister, Brandi Welch of Florence. Woody was predeceased by his brother Calvin Benjamin Welch, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road, Charleston, SC 29407 on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2PM In lieu of flowers, memorial donations toward funeral expenses are being accepted by Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road, Charleston, SC 29407, (843) 556-4673.
