Willie Mae Suthard

Willie Mae Suthard, 81 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Her husband of 54 years Roy Suthard was by her side.

Born on November 20, 1940 in Cross, SC she was a daughter of the late Mary Martin Brinson and Elliott Brinson.

Willie Mae, affectionately known as Billie was very active in her Church and Prayer Ministry.  She loved yard work.  She especially loved her family and enjoyed time spent with them.  She was a mother of five, a grandmother of seven, and a great grandmother of six.  

In addition to her parents Willie Mae is preceded in death by her son, Donald Elliott Cumbee.

Willie Mae is survived by her husband, Roy Suthard, Jr.  Daughters, Tina Woods (Calvin), Patty Bunch (Gary).  Sons, Roy Suthard, III, Scott Suthard (Paula), Daughter-in-law Donna Cumbee.

The family will receive friends on Friday, the 7th of October, 2022, from  1:00 PM -  2:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Chapel - 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, South Carolina. 

The service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October  7, 2022 at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation - 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, South Carolina. The burial will be held immediately following the service at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, South Carolina  29461

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation.
