William Thomas Mock, Sr., 84, of Charleston, SC, went to be with his Lord on January 24, 2022.
Born on November 29, 1937, in Charleston, William was a son of the late Lucille Laura Mock and the late Joseph Jasper Mock.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Altine Mock; his brother, Joseph Francis Mock and by his sister, Ann Lucille McGuire.
He is survived by his sons, William T. Mock, Jr. (Debbie), and Michael L. Mock; daughter, Laurie Frances Mock Josiger (Kevin); brother, Robert G. Mock (Donna); sister, Barbara Lee Harley (Duke).
He was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Pleasant Manor, 921 Bowman Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home on James Island, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
