William 'Scott' Powell

William “Scott” Powell, 46, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on October 6, 2014. He was born Sunday, March 31, 1968, in Danville, Illinois. Scott was the son of William Powell and Patricia Haga Powell. Scott worked for Wells Fargo Security Company in Charlotte, NC, Carolina Trucking, Chargeur Wool Processing, and most recent position was a Human Resources Manager with American LaFrance. He loved living in Charleston and taking his dog, Jasmine, for walks on Folly Beach. He also had a dog named Keisha that passed away. He frequented the many wonderful restaurants and loved entertaining his parents and sister in this beautiful city. The family has fond memories of their time here in Charleston and all that Scott introduced to them. Scott is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Gene and Eunice Haga and his paternal grandparents; Walter and Pearl Powell. He is survived by his parents, William Powell and Patricia Haga Powell of Hillsboro, IN, one sister Melissa Powell of Indianapolis, IN and several aunts, uncles, and loving family members.
