William "Bear" Beier

William John Beier, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 25, 2017.

He was born on June 18, 1957 in Augusta, GA to the Late Bernard George Beier and Mary C. Beier.

Bill “Bear” was a graduate of Aquinas High School in Augusta, GA, he then received a bachelor’s degree at the College of Charleston, and enjoyed a career in computer programming and logistics in the shipping industry. He was fond of fishing, playing basketball, watching Notre Dame Football, and the Boston Celtics. Bill loved the beach and spending time with his friends and family. He was known for his brilliant blue eyes and endearing smile. His family will remember him as a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his mother, Mary C. Beier, of N. Augusta, SC; daughter, Kimberly Marie Beier, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; step-son, Joshua A. Jones, of Tampa, Fl: sisters, Barbara Beier, Mary Maguire, Ann Watts, Susan Polder; brothers, Paul, Thomas, Anthony, Robert, John, and Bernard Beier, Jr.; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

The Celebration of Life Services will be held on August 29, 2017 at 3:00PM at Wild Wing Cafe, 644 Coleman Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC, 29464.
