William Peterson

William Peterson, 86, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023.

Born on April 25, 1937 in Green Mountain, NC, he was a son of the late Zora Deyton Peterson and the late Tice Peterson.

William retired from the Navy.

Besides his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. Peterson; sisters: Brenda Banks, Pauline Harris, and Gladys Tipton; brothers: Rotha (Duke) Peterson, Rassie Peterson, Arvil Peterson and Lee Peterson (infant).

William is survived by his children: Marina Jones (Randy), Lorelei Moran(Brian), Gregory Peterson(Michaela), Jeff Peterson(Page), Debra McCay(Michael) and Ronald Peterson; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
