William Darryl Waltz

William Darryl Waltz, 55, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

He was born on Saturday, April 23, 1960, in Charleston, SC, to the late Patricia Ann Lowry Waltz and the late Asbury Lever Waltz, Jr.

Darryl's family will remember him for his kind heart and artistic ability. He could draw most anything but his favorite medium was wood; he was a master carpenter. Darryl's pride and joy were his children. His life was devoted to them. Like his mother, Darryl made a positive impact on the hearts of all he came in contact with.

Besides his parents, Darryl is preceded in death by his daughter, Sabrina Denise Waltz.

He is survived by two sons: William Dean Waltz and his wife, Rebecca, of Round O, SC and Johnathan Dillion Porter Waltz of Summerville, SC; daughter, C-Aira Marie Ann Waltz of Round O, SC; granddaughter, Irelynn; three brothers: Chad Waltz and his wife, Dina, of Ocala, FL; Mark Waltz of Johns Island, SC; Asbury Lever Waltz, III, and his wife, Becky, of Summerville; four sisters: Rochelle Blackburn and her husband, Jack, of Charleston, SC; Debbie Schwacke of Charleston, SC; Cheryl Robertson and her fiance' Gene Pardee, of Charleston, SC; Marlene Warren and her husband, Michael, of Goose Creek, SC; his Aunt Patsy and Uncle Dan Cooper of Lakeland, FL; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A family graveside service will be held at Live Oak Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
