William K. Ahern

William K. Ahern, 78 of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

William was born on October 9,1944 in Manchester, NH, and was the son of Louise Haggerty Ahern and Michael Ahern. 

He spent a few years in the Navy as young man, but the majority of his life was spent in sales from which he retired in 2010 after a long career with Drillers Service Inc. His love of golf could not be measured, whether it was playing it or watching it on TV, but a close second was playing cards. 

William is preceded in death by his father, Michael Ahern; mother, Louise Ahern; his wife of 47 years, Sara J. Ahern and first-born son, Michael Ahern. 

William is survived by his daughters, Christine Ahern and Jennifer (Paul) Lee and son, Charles Ahern, as well as his grandson, Michael Ahern; granddaughters, Michala Lee and Payton Lee and great granddaughter, Athena Ahern.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM and a memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek.
