Wayne Jones

Wayne Jones, 63, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was born in Conway, South Carolina, on May 12, 1951 to his parents the late, Mavis and Dewey Jones. Wayne was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, and an avid gun, coin, and knife collector. He enjoyed swimming, cooking for his family, and loved his dogs Jake and Lucky. Wayne was most proud of being involved in his son, Cody’s life and seeing him matriculate to The Citadel of Charleston, SC. He was a true southern gentleman. He is survived by his son, Cody Jones, of Goose Creek; his significant other, Cynthia Clemons of Goose Creek; siblings, Linda (Rick) of Myrtle Beach, Glenn (Kathy) Jones of Moncks Corner, and Ricky (Wendy) Jones of Conway. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Mami. The family will receive friends, Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:30 pm until time of service at 7:30 pm, in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL.
