Wanda June Slone

Wanda June Slone, 90 of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2023.

Born on July 7, 1932, in Georgetown, KY Wanda was a daughter of the late Elizabeth Michael Hamilton and Raymond Hamilton.

Wanda was the life of the party. She worked many years in the service industry field and was loved by her friends and family. She loved her little dogs, and she loved all things Kentucky. (Especially basketball). Most importantly she was Mamaw to everyone that met her.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; Sister, Margaret Graves and brothers, Leon Hamilton, Clarence Hamilton, Howard Hamilton and Harold Hamilton.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Sonia Rowland (Freddy) and sons, Larry Willhoit (Sheilah) and David Willhoit (Cindy); six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12-1:00 PM on Monday, March 20, 2023, at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation - Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Services will follow at 1PM. Burial will conclude at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
