Walter Thomas 'Tom' Milne

Walter “Tom” Thomas Milne, 67, of Goose Creek, died November 17, 2014. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late George and Fritz Milne and husband to the late Liz Milne. Tom was raised in St. Louis, MO, and after high school joined the United States Navy, serving for twenty one years and retiring as a Senior Chief. After his military service he worked as a contractor for the Army Corp of Engineers. He enjoyed quilting with his family and riding his motorcycle. Tom was a supporter of Toys for Tots and always loved Christmas. Tom was a previous member of the Cobblestone Quilt Guild. He is survived by his two daughters, Christina Marie Warren and Cathleen Michelle Milne, both of Goose Creek; three grandchildren, Phillip Warren, Alex Warren and Hanna Milne, all of Goose Creek; great grandchild, Rayna Warren of Goose Creek. Tom was predeceased by his parents, wife and granddaughter, Olivia Milne. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek. The family will receive friends after the service in the church Community Center.
