Vera Bernice England

Vera Todd England, 77, of Pelion, SC passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born on Wednesday, July 26, 1939 in Loris, SC to the late Alice Hilburn McKenzie and the late Clarence McKenzie. Vera enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family, and word puzzles. Her family will remember her as a loving mother and “Granny”. Besides her parents, Vera is preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Arthur L. England and 17 siblings. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy Sadler (Alan) of Pelion, SC; Linda Todd of Pelion, SC; sons: Mike Todd (Wanda) of Franklin, NC; and Tommy Todd (Andrea) of Clover, SC; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
