Timothy P. Kane of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on July 24, 2024.
He was the son of the late Edmund Kane and Mary Alice Simon Kane.
A visionary entrepreneur and beloved father, he left a lasting mark on both the business world and his family. Born on December 22, 1940, he embodied the spirit of tenacity and innovation throughout his life's journey. As the CEO of his own company, Timothy's leadership was a beacon of inspiration for many aspiring business professionals. Known for his passion for real estate, he was an avid purchaser with a keen eye for promising investments. Among his most cherished accomplishments was acquiring the esteemed Charleston National Golf Course, a testament to his unwavering dedication to excellence.
While Timothy's professional achievements were remarkable, it was his love for his family that truly defined him. He adored his children with devotion that radiated warmth and kindness. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, creating memories that will be treasured forever. He is survived by his beloved wife Pamela Kane, sons, Tim Kane Jr. (Holly) and John Kane (Sue), daughter, Marta Berg (Jonas), his brothers, EJ (Shirley) and Jeff Kane (Sharon), grandchildren, Alex, Sofia, Sam and Stephanie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Timothy leaves behind a legacy that will endure through the lives he touched and the hearts he uplifted. Though we mourn his loss deeply, we also celebrate the richness of a life well-lived—one marked by ambition, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to both work and family.
A Funeral Service will be held on August 3, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 3222 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482.
