Timothy R. Holbach

Timothy R. Holbach, 71, of Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.  Tim was born September 17, 1951, in New Britain, CT to the late Anne Coyne Holbach and Joseph P. Holbach.

Tim enjoyed woodworking and projects, as well as nature, photography, going to the beach, and was an active member of Dragonboat Charleston.  He was dedicated to his Catholic faith and was involved in many church groups and activities throughout his life.  As a devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather, he most enjoyed spending time with his family.  

Besides his parents, Timothy is preceded in death by his brothers, John and James; and his brothers-in-law: Albert Remeikis, Michael Elias, and Richard Edelman.

Timothy is survived and missed by his loving wife, Nancy, of 28 years; his children: Michelle (Dustin), Angie (Jayson), Katie (Justin) and Brian (Alanna); his stepsons, Rob (Stephanie) and Jon (Cindy); as well as his fourteen grandchildren: Mariah, Joseph, John, Daniel, Dylan, Bodhi, Zola, Manon, Mia, Luke, Adeline, Zach, Olivia, and Charlie; and his six-surviving sibling: Margaret, Mary Grace, Joe, Annie, Katie and Suzie; as well as many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
