Thomas William Casey

Thomas William Casey, 74, of Goose Creek, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2016. Tom was born October 17th, 1941 in Scranton, PA, to the late William and Irene Casey. Tom met his future bride, Beverly Jones in high school and they married in 1967. Tom and Beverly were married 48 wonderful years. Tom was an adoring husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. Enjoying a long and successful career in sales and management at AIG, Tom retired in Goose Creek, SC as a District Supervisor. In retirement, he enjoyed building model trains, fishing, home improvement projects and was an avid Steelers and Panthers fan. Tom could always be found enjoying life with a hot cup of coffee or texting his good friends. He loved travelling with Bev and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Corvette Club and attended Peace Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Casey of Goose Creek; sons, Scott Casey and wife Lynne of Charlotte, NC and Jeff Casey and wife Angela of Goose Creek; grandchildren, Morgan Casey and Erin Casey; step-grandchildren, Elijah McNeil, William Talley and Deanna Waring, as well as brother and sister in law, Robert and Genie Jones and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 4pm in McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to service from 3pm to 4pm in the funeral home.
