Thomas Harry Perkins, Sr., 74, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on July 27, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 30, 1946, in Orangeburg, SC Thomas was a son of the late Andrew C Perkins, Sr. and Jennie A. Perkins.

Tom was an avid hunter, fisherman, and NASCAR fan. He was an accomplished storyteller behind the counter of his bait and tackle shop. Tom was a Corporal in the Marine Corps and served as the aide to the commanding general at Portsmouth, New Hampshire Naval Prison.

Tom is survived by his children, his son Thomas H. Perkins Jr of Minneapolis, MN, his daughter Christine M. Perkins Helget of Springfield, MN, his brother, Andrew C Perkins, Jr. of James Island, SC; four grandchildren and Mr. Emmitt, his precious fur baby.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen H. Perkins, his parents, and his sister, Elizabeth Perkins.

The service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom`s memory may be sent to VFW Post 445, 1639 Camp Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.
