Thomas Harrison Holliday

Thomas Harrison Holliday, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He was born on Wednesday, December 7, 1955 in Charleston, SC to the late Mrs. Iréne Evelyn Webber Holliday and the late Mr. Warren L. Holliday Jr. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Tommy would often find his sense of humor second to none. He took pride in his hard work ethic which led to him building a successful business from the ground up. In his spare time he enjoyed playing trivia and would never miss a Gamecock football game. Most importantly, he was a pillar for his two sons and four sisters. He is survived by his sons, Warren Holliday and Thomas Urban Holliday, both of Charleston, SC; four sisters, Renee Lynn Zeide (Maurice), of Los Angeles, CA, Barbara Lindsay McLellan (William), of Columbia, SC, Brenda Gail Holliday, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Melissa Ann Holliday, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three nieces, Avis Ganis, Adrienne Holliday, and Lauren Wiggins; two nephews, Emile Zeide and John Paul Cruz; two great nieces, Autumn Ganis and Isabella Holliday; and many loving friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made in his memory to ALS Foundation and St. Benedict Catholic Church.
