Thomas David Greibe

Thomas David Greibe, 82 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

He was born on March 26, 1942 in Galena, Illinois and was a son of the late Blanche Miller Greibe and Michael Greibe.

Thomas retired as a CPO from the US Navy after 22 years, where he served as a diver and signalman. He went on to work at the US Air Force Base Charleston in housing maintenance with the Civil Service for 22 years. He enjoyed most outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, and boating.

As well as being preceded in death by his parents, Thomas is also preceded in death by his brothers: Robert (Darlene), Charles (Kate) and Joseph (Mary); his sister, Joann Mary Hendrickson.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 47 years, Corinna Greibe; his daughter, Cinnamon Candy Greibe-Hall (Cory); son, Matthew David Greibe-Broome (Blake); granddaughter, Ashley Marie Hall; and brother, Michael Greibe (Josie).

The family will receive friends on Monday, 3rd of March, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home - Goose Creek.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 3, 2025 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home - Goose Creek. The burial will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina 10:00 AM on Tuesday March 4, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
