Terrance Wayne Yocum, 79, of Summerville, SC, passed away on August 9, 2021.
Born on November 30, 1941 in Kansas City, MO, Terrance was a son of the late Wallace Merit Yocum and Doris Irene Yocum.
Terrance was an insurance underwriter. His interest included art and painting, he was a wood working craftsman, a civil war historian and a long distance runner participating in 10Ks and marathons.. He has the distinction of competing in 25 Atlanta Peachtree Road races.
Besides his parents, Terrance is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Thomas Yocum and his brother Ronnie Yocum
He is survived by his son Wallace (Norma) and grandchildren Christina (Jay) and Steven (Amanda), and six great grandchildren. Also he is survived by his sister, Pam Yocum Herold,
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 16, 2021, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley at 2501 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC.
