Teresa Huypungco Milz

Teresa Huypungco Milz, 87, of Goose Creek, SC entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Lowell T Milz for 56 years before his passing in December of 2014.

Born on May 03, 1934 in Manila, Philippines, Teresa was a daughter of the late Gonzalo M Huypungco and Catalina Q Huypungco.

Teresa, was an avid gardener. She loved cooking for the grandkids. She enjoyed family time and playing Bingo as often as she could. She was in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church choir and was very involved in all Church activities.

Teresa is survived by two daughters, Janet Cottone (Tom) of Jedburg, SC, Brenda Elrod (deceased David) of Goose Creek SC and a son, James Milz (Elizabeth) of Goose Creek, SC. She has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A brother Arsenio N Huypungco (Nena) of Canada and a sister, Adoracion H Dizon (widow) of the Philippines.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation (Goose Creek). There will be a prayer service at 6:30PM.

The service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:00AM on Friday, October 15, 2021 with a burial following at 11:30AM at Carolina Memorial Gardens, Rivers Avenue, N Charleston, SC.
