Sylvia Coyne

June 15, 1939 — July 25, 2021

Our dear beloved mother passed away Sunday July 25, 2021. Mom was born June 15, 1939, in Neptune NJ to Ferdinand and Aino Clausen. She graduated from Red Bank High School in 1956. She spent her career in the Real Estate industry and retired in 2010.

Our mother created a home of unconditional love, our home was where all our friends gathered, and all were welcome. She made sure her children had everything they needed and always put her needs behind ours. She never missed a sporting event her kids were involved in no matter how far she had to travel. Mom is the reason we are the men and woman we are today, and the evidence of her love is seen in each of our families. Mom is the reason that her children are best friends and look out for each other to this day. She taught us about life and love and showed us how to handle diversity with dignity and strength always putting her children first and foremost.

Mom showed her many talents by sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She was so intelligent as she did her crosswords and sudoku in pen and always amazing us with her ability to win in jeopardy!

She is survived by her loving children: Rich (Perri) of Cave Creek, Arizona, Jerry (Kathy) of Middletown, Rhode Island, Jim (Laura) of Johns Island, South Carolina, and Kelly of Charleston, South Carolina, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, her sister Elsie of Eatontown, New Jersey, and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Ina.

Mom is in the arms of our Lord and Savior, and we thank God for letting her be our mother.

Services will be private.
