Susie J Gaskins

Susie J Gaskins, 77, of Alvin, SC entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2020. She was born on April 22, 1942, and was daughter to the late Hollis Lee Wolford and Rebecca Broschart Wolford.

Susie was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Cohen’s Drywall, and the Moncks Corner Inn. She gave to many charities including the Callen Lacey Center. She enjoyed beautiful flowers especially in her yard, and had a great love for going back to her beloved West Virginia.

Susie is survived by her husband, Cohen Gaskins, Jr.; children, Mary G. Ready, Wanda L. Gaskins, David C. Gaskins (Aliese), James A. Gaskins (Kelli),  Daryl W. Gaskins (Kim), Paula G. Crowley (Trent), and Kimberly G. Wren; eighteen grandchildren, Jason Ready, Matthew Ready, Susan Ready, David Gaskins II, Sarah G. Semu, Ethan Gaskins, Cohen Gaskins, Ashley Gaskins, Madison Gaskins, Molly Shuler, Emma Gaskins, Daryl Gaskins Jr., Grady Crowley, Austin Crowley, Ohen Wren, Haley Wren, Hannah Wren, and Jackson Wren; and five great grandchildren, Caleb Ready, Blakely Ready, Dawson Ready, Fiona Gaskins, and Brodie Ready.

Private services will be held on April, 4, 2020 and interment will take place at West View Cemetery in Moncks Corner, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Susie's memory may be made to the Callen Lacey Center.
