Steve Coursey, 64, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017.
He was born on August 20, 1953 in Great Falls, MT, son of the late Margaret Sands Jerome and Pete Coursey.
Steve graduated from C. M. Russell High School in 1972, in Great Falls, MT. He received an associate degree from the College of Allied Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1979. He was a dental lab technician, and owned his own business.
Steve enjoyed fishing, cooking for his family, and was an avid wood carver. He liked doing things for others, and everyone loved him. Steve loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving and caring man.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marge Jerome and his stepfather, Dwayne Jerome.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cynthia Rogerson Coursey, of Charleston, SC; his father, Pete Coursey of Reno, NV; his sister, Diane Gilreath of Billings, MT; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel.
