Stephen Andrew Waldrop, born November 29, 1970, in Charleston SC, passed away peacefully and entered his eternal home with our Lord on January 20, 2025. He was the beloved son of Charles and Candace Waldrop.
Stephen was an inspiration in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Stephen is survived by his loving parents, Chuck and Candy; his brother Michael; sisters Robin and Kathleen, and brother-in-law Dennis. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins who adored him dearly, and who shared in his joyful spirit.
He is preceded by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Waldrop and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jurcsak.
Stephen found joy in music and classic rock, his adventurous spirit, gaming through the late night hours, time with dear friends, his Philadelphia Eagles, and holidays with his family. He was a profound patriot of our Country and the freedoms we have been bestowed.
Those who knew Stephen will remember him for his calming nature, unwavering compassion, subtle humor, deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and giggle, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
The family will have their own private Celebration of Life to honor and memorialize Stephen’s mark on their lives and in this world.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society at https://raiseyourway.donordrive.com/campaign/In-memoriam-of-Stephen-A--Waldrop.
