Stephen Joseph Fryar

Stephen Joseph Fryar, 64, of Charleston, formerly of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Steve was born on February 11, 1950 in Charleston, SC to the late Curtis H. Fryar, Jr. and the late Hazel Fryar. He retired from Ft. Jackson after 42 years of service as a hospital administrator. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with many friends. Steve is survived by 2 sisters, Ann Marie Fryar and Carol Alderman; 3 brothers, Curtis H. Fryar, III (Mary), Timothy Fryar (Susan) and Raymond Fryar, all of Charleston; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Fryar Lockard (Bill), Richard Alderman (Amy), Lisa Alderman, Jessica Fryar Cooper (Travis), Lacey Fryar, R.J. Fryar and Christopher Fryar; great-nieces, Abigail Reeves and Audrey Alderman. In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by a sister, Jane Frances Fryar. Arrangements are private.
