Sophian Jamal Asey

Sophian Jamal Asey, 18, of Goose Creek, passed away February 22, 2016. Born in Charleston, he was the son of Christine Hair Asey and Jamal Asey. Sophian graduated from Stratford High School and attended Clemson University. He passed time by playing video games or guitar, and spending time at the beach. He enjoyed surfing, and attending music festivals with his cousins, or being with his family at Edisto Island. He was empathetic and good natured. He is survived by his mother, Christine Hair Asey of Goose Creek; father, Jamal Asey of Kuwait; sister, Hannah Asey of Goose Creek. A private memorial service will be held at Folly Beach.
