Shaun C. Roberts

Mr. Shaun C. Roberts, 44, of Goose Creek, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016. Mr. Roberts was born July 19, 1971 in Charleston to Marshall C. Roberts of Walterboro, SC and the late Marilyn Hickman Peternel. Shaun enjoyed cooking, fishing, living on the lake and driving his Corvette. He will be remembered as a generous man, loving father and wonderful son. He always made an impression on people and loved life. Besides his father, Shaun is survived by a son, Shaun Baylee Roberts of Goose Creek; a brother, Jeffrey Peternel Jr, of Moncks Corner, SC; an uncle, Thomas Winn of Ravenel, SC; a god-brother, Kyle Garvin of Ravenel; step-mother, Rachel Roberts of Walterboro, SC; his loving dog, Toby and Baylee’s mother, Carla Mills of Goose Creek. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am Friday, May 20, 2016 at Heritage Holiness Church, 3836 Ladson Rd, Ladson, SC 29456. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Heritage Holiness Church, 3836 Ladson Rd, Ladson, SC 29456. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel.
