Scott Alan Miller

Scott Alan Miller, age 49, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014. Born November 6, 1964, in Great Lakes, IL, Scott is the son of Gerald “Jerry” and Carol L. Miller. He grew up in Goose Creek and graduated from Goose Creek High School in 1983. He worked for Amerada Hess Corporation and was a member of Peace Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents of Goose Creek, Scott is survived by his wife of 20 years, Charlotte Boswell Miller, of Goose Creek; son, Joshua Scott Miller, of Goose Creek; daughter, Julia Louise Miller, of Goose Creek; brother, David Miller, of Goose Creek; sister, Debbie Singer (Mike), of Goose Creek; father-in-law, Curt Boswell (Jayne), of Florence; mother-in-law, Anna Fowler (Roy), of Summerville; nieces and nephews: Allen Miller; Jessica Kutcha (Chris); Kevin Miller; Chad Singer (Lauren); Benjamin Singer; and Andrew Singer; and cousin, Kelly McCloskey Garrett. He is preceded in death by daughters, Grace Rogers Miller and Eve Louise Miller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel, 869 St. James Avenue. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 1:00pm at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery, 2305 N. Williston Rd., Florence, SC. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jayne H.
