Saturnino Manuel Martinez Gabriel

Saturnino Manuel Martinez Gabriel, 60 of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Born on November 29, 1963 in Oaxaca, Mexico, he was the son of Guadalupe Gabriel and Filemon Martinez.

Manuel worked for the Daniel Island Golf for 20 years. He was a committed to his grandchildren's sports, and frequently attended his granddaughter's soccer games. He enjoyed travel, and he was especially devoted to traveling with his children. 

Saturnino is preceded in death by, beloved sister, Maria Martinez Gabriel. 

He is survived by his parents, Guadalupe Gabriel and Filemon Martinez, his daughters Olga Morales, Adriana Martinez, Maria Martinez, Minerva Martinez and his son Enmanuel Martinez, brothers, Eugenio Martinez, Macrario Martinez, Federico Martinez, sisters, Julia Martinez and Cenobia Martinez, grandchildren, Julissa, Jacob, Josuar, Liliana, David, and Elizabeth, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, August 4th, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, SC. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith.
