Sarah Jones Frenkel, 74, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019.
Born on June 6, 1945 in Charleston, SC, Sarah was the daughter of the late Maria Duffy Jones and the late Daniel Jones.
Sarah was active in her church and enjoyed Sunday school class. With a flair for design and a love of cooking, she was a natural hostess who loved to entertain family and friends. She will be remembered as a very kind, giving and compassionate person, and was a true inspiration to many, who welcomed everyone into her life.
Besides her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Frenkel and her brother, Danny Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Frenkel; grandson, Parker Gaillard; and her siblings: Kathy Whitaker, Tesa Livingston, Charles “Bubba” Jones (Marcia), Mary Francis “Bittie” Pinion (Joe) and Patty Armstrong.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in the fellowhip hall at Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse for Life, 7320 Broad River Rd, Irmo, SC 29063.
