Santiago T. Tualla, 71, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
He was born on July 25, 1947 in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, son of the late Maria and Antonio Tualla.
Santiago was a U.S. Navy Brig Officer and Specialty Chef. He was an avid gardener, bowler, and experienced carpenter.
Besides his parents, Santiago is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He was the youngest of 10.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Josefina Tualla of Goose Creek, SC, Children: Joselito Tualla, Salvador Tualla, his daughter Irene Tualla-Mayes and her husband Brian Mayes, his son Iandale Tualla and his wife Roselyn Tualla, and Jarold Tualla; Grandchildren: Cleo Wolff, Cassi McLawhorn, Cecile Tualla, Nina Tualla, Josephine Hilario, Mateo Tualla, Ayden Tualla, Sonny Thompson-Tualla, Mackenzie Tualla, Andrew Tualla, Ashton Tualla; Great Grandchildren: Isabel Wolff, Wyatt McLawhorn, James Sweat, and Penelope Wolff.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
