Sandra Alice 'Sandy' Moule (Dekozlowski)

Sandra 'Sandy' Alice de Kozlowski Moule, 35, of, Charleston, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. She was born on Wednesday, November 22, 1978, in Knoxville, TN, a daughter of Steven de Kozlowski and Alice Hoehn de Kozlowski of Columbia, SC. Sandy was a graduate of High Point University. She was a special education teacher at Laing Middle School, and previously at Wando High School and Fort Johnson Middle School. Sandy was especially devoted to her many students. She enjoyed playing many sports, especially soccer and softball. Sandy was a Special Olympics coach. She loved trips to the beach and enjoyed photography. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. Her family remembers her as the one who made them smile, and a loving wife to Erik and mother to Jacob. Sandy is survived by her parents, Steven de Kozlowski and Alice Hoehn de Kozlowski of Columbia, SC; her husband, Erik Moule of Charleston, SC; one son, Jacob Sallee of Charleston, SC; her twin sister, Jocelyn de Kozlowski of Columbia, SC; two brothers: Jeff de Kozlowski of Denver, CO and Mike de Kozlowski of Columbia, SC; her paternal grandmother, Joyce de Kozlowski of Phoenix, MD; her parents-in-law, Glenn and Sonya Moule of Charleston, SC; her brother-in-law, Glenn Moule and his wife, Charis, of Fernandina Beach, FL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Katie de Kozlowski. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 17, 2014, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. A funeral service will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 3:00pm, with Reverend Kathy Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
