Samuel Joseph Cosimano, Sr., 57, of Ladson, passed away, September 23, 2015. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Samuel and Mildred Cosimano. Sam grew up in New York and later joined the United States Navy, which brought him to Charleston where he met his wife Beth. Before he retired, his pride was being the owner/operator of the hobby shop FasTrack in Goose Creek. Sam was a member of the Fleet Reserve, auxiliary member of the V.F.W., Corvette Club, Palmetto Land Baptist Church; his hobbies included playing pool, anything with corvettes, and his beloved family. His family will remember him for his charismatic personality and heart of gold. Sam is survived by his wife, Beth; children: Joe Cosimano (Emily) of Charlotte NC, Katie Williams (Chas) of North Charleston, and Crystal Platts (Mark) of Ladson; grandchildren: Gavin and Kiley; brother, Tim Cosimano of Ohio; sisters, Mary Butler, Bernice Jordan, Julie Barden all of New York. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
