Sally A. Henney

Sally A. Henney, 55, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023.

Born on March 18, 1968, in Kenosha, WI, she was the daughter of Louise Johnson Davis and George Dixon.

Sally had a smile and laughter that lit up the room. Her sharp wit and sense of humor were infectious. She had dedicated her life to her Sons and family. She was the cook, the maid, the IT support, the decorator and the fix it person. She loved relaxing in her pool and travelling with her adoring husband and family.

Sally was a career mail carrier for the USPS. She has so many wonderful co-workers (dear friends). She loved talking about the day’s events with her friends and family. She took great pride in her job and cared for all the customers she delivered to.

This smart, beautiful & caring woman will be sorely missed by all!

Sally is preceded in death by her beloved son, Aaron Swoyer and her Papa, Richard Davis.

Sally is survived by her husband, Timm Henney; son, Logan McElvogue; father, George Dixon; mother, Louise Davis; sisters: Suzanne Stidham (Alan), Celeste Maynard (John), Sara Christopher and Carolyn Shoener; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with the prayer service at 7:00 PM, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
