Rudolph (O.) Snipes born February 18, 1928 of James Island SC died peacefully in his sleep on December 29, 2017.
Went from gas meter repairman to Inventor and Foreman at SCE&G for 30+ years.
Was Southeastern Gas Assoc’s “Gas Man of the year” in 1983; US Army Air Force mechanic in WWII; Judo Master; Mr. Folly Beach in the 1940’s
Enjoyed his family, pets, bodybuilding, baseball, swimming, jogging and teaching boy scouts.
Survived by daughter Joy L Snipes, Granddaughter Kristen Sloan, Great-grand children Chelsea Mosley and Heath Sloan and three great-great-grandchildren Nathan, Paisley, and Connor Mosley.
Predeceased by parents Fuschea S and Richard C Davis, his wife of 50+ years Margaret Parnell and son Steven N. Snipes
