Rose Marie Kasten

Rose Marie Kasten, 59, of Goose Creek, passed away February 4, 2016. Born in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucille Meadows and wife to Alan Kasten. Rose graduated from Topsail High School in Wilmington and went on to work for Levi Straus. She later began working with Avon and has a career of over twenty years, retiring as a District Sales Manager. Rose had a passion for collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and loved sports. She was an avid Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. Rose is a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Alan Kasten; daughters, Stephannie Clayton and husband Kevin of Moncks Corner, Jennifer Troneck and husband Joseph of Ladson and Natalie Woodall and husband Josh of Goose Creek; grandchildren, Victoria Fullerton, Dameion Smith, Carmen Troneck and McKenzi Woodall; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Dollie Kasten. Rose was predeceased by her parents and brother, Fred Meadows. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
