Rosanne Marie " Rose " Hayes

Rosanne Marie Hayes, 68, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife to Thomas Murray Hayes of 46 years, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 3, 2020, surrounded by her family.
Born on August 22, 1952 in Hillsdale, Michigan, Rose was a daughter of the late, George Franklin Stover and Cornelia Rose Stover. She grew up in Lebanon, Indiana, attended Lebanon High School and she then went on to study Nursing at Indiana University. She moved to Mount Pleasant in 1991 and she owned and operated the Almost Home Feline Refuge ( a Cat Rescue and Sanctuary). Rose will be remembered for her love of family, her loving care of animals in need and she most recently published a children's book about a special kitty who came to the shelter for her care.
In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by her mother, Cornelia Rose Moore of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; her sister, Robin Stover of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and her brother, Joe Stover of Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Rose will also be missed by many friends and people who assisted her with her cat rescue program.
A gathering of Rose's family and friends is being held at Mcalister-Smith Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. 1520 Rifle Range Rd., Mt. Pleasant, SC, 29464 on Saturday, September 26, at 1:00 PM.
