Ronald Marcel Martineau

Ronald Marcel Martineau, 68, of Moncks Corner died Tuesday morning, September 21, 2021 at Roper Hospital downtown.

Mr. Martineau was born January 27, 1953 in Manchester, NH, to the late Roland Marcel Martineau and the late Simone Claire Martineau (Rogers).

He was a 21 year retired veteran from the US Navy, and in the International Logistics industry for 20 years after that. He was a devout Nascar and Clemson fan, and a talented, avid bowler. He was a believer in Christ, as well as a devoted father and grandfather with a huge heart.

Surviving are his sons Richard Martineau (Shaun) of Riverside, CA and Trey Medeiros of Ladson; daughters Alicia Hanna (Joe) of Ladson, Erika Sjoquist of Savannah, GA, and Amber Wallace (Johnathon) of Arkansas; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Martineau was predeceased by his father and mother.

A visitation and viewing will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, September 29, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek, followed by a memorial service at 7pm conducted by Pastor Ric Edgar

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to Reality Church, PO Box 302, Goose Creek, SC 29445, where they attended and served.
