Ronald Jefferson Davis, 69 of Charleston died peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side at the Hospice Center in Mt Pleasant.
Ron was born on October 4, 1947 in Columbia, to the late Jeff Davis and Elaine (Ogburn) Davis of Mt Pleasant.
He was a 1965 graduate of Berkeley High School, a 1971 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.A. Business Accounting.
After a career with Southern Bell and AT&T, Ron was a top producing realtor for over 25 years, starting Ron Davis Realtors in 1998 as owner and Broker-in-Charge.
Ron will be deeply missed by his family including his wife, Edna (Harrison) Davis, his daughter, Elizabeth Davis Vick “Betsy” and Ted of Greenville, and their children, Davis, McCay, and Eloise Jacques, and his mother, Elaine Ogburn Davis of Mt Pleasant. He is also survived by his son, Ronald Jefferson Davis, Jr. and Olga of Greenville, a brother, Gregory Earl Davis and Barbara of St Stephens.
Ron loved the Lord, he enjoyed life to the fullest, golfing, sailing, traveling, boating, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as “Catfish”.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service 1:00PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Seacoast Church, 750 Longpoint Rd., Mt Pleasant, with visitation and reception to follow.
