Robert Wyman Kimble, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, SC died peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2014. He was born on Thursday, March 21, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Ms. Roberta Kelly and the late Mr. Earl Carlton Kimble. Robert was a proud graduate of Slippery Rock University and had served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for over 30 years in the steel industry. He was also a past president of the Latrobe, PA Jaycees and a State VP in that organization. Robert and his wife Nancy resided for 35 years in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, before he retired to North Charleston, SC where he served as President of his HOA in The Elm’s. A man of faith. Robert served as an Elder of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hampden, Massachusetts. Robert loved his family, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and golf in that order. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Jeanne Kimble, of Charleston, SC; a son, Robert Wyman and his wife Peggy of Glencoe, IL; a daughter, Victoria Kimble Garvey and her husband Richard, of Mount Pleasant, SC; two grandchildren; Max Wyman Wagner Kimble; and Denise April Reinhardt and her husband Andrew; and two great grandchildren; Reagan Victoria Reinhardt and Kelsey Drew Reinhardt. A Memorial Service will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Kenneth Malchiodi officiating.
