Robert Henry Keasey, Jr.

Robert Henry Keasey Jr., 61, of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 27th, 2025.

Born in Charleston, SC on October 31, 1963, Robert was the son of Mary Keasey (Barrineau) and Robert Keasey.

Robert was a kind-hearted and loving father, son and brother. Robert graduated fr om Summerville High School in 1981 and went on to proudly serve our country as a Senior Airman Command & Control Specialist in the United States Air Force. After his time in service, he married the love of his life and went on to have 3 beautiful, healthy children, whom he loved more than anything else in this world. Robert was a collector at heart and found joy in hunting for shark teeth with his kids, spoiling his pets, admiring (and occasionally purchasing) old muscle cars, and collecting rare Breweriana memorabilia with his friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lottie Lewis; paternal grandfather, Henry Keasey; step-grandfather, Wilson E. Lewis; maternal grandmother, Sadie Barrineau; maternal grandfather, Liston D. Barrineau; aunt, Patricia Douglas; cousins, Billy Douglas and Kim Douglas; and uncle, Ronald Keasey.

Robert is survived by his parents, Robert Henry Keasey, Sr. and Mary Kay (Barrineau) Keasey; his children whom he loved immensely; son, Conner Keasey; daughters, Sarah Keasey and Lauren Keasey; and sister, Stephanie Keasey-Goetz.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00am at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414, followed by a celebration of life gathering at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation - West Ashley, 2501 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, South Carolina 29414.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, or the Taya and Chris Kyle Foundation.
