Robert Gary 'Bobby' Windrow II

Robert Gary Windrow II, 42, of Hollywood, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He was born on Wednesday, May 2, 1973, in West Palm Beach, FL, son of Renee Thompson Ford and Robert G. Windrow. Bobby served on two separate occasions for the United States Army. He enjoyed working on and restoring automobiles with his dad. He loved watching movies, traveling internationally, as well as his time spent reading. His family will remember his caring, sensitive nature, with a dynamic smile. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert Windrow, Sr., and Jean and Irving Thompson; his uncles, Richard Windrow and Richard Thompson. Bobby is survived by his mother, Renee Thompson Ford and her husband, Alan, of West Palm Beach, FL; his father, Robert G. Windrow, of Hollywood, SC; his sister, Michelle Lazzaro and her husband, Robert, of Charleston, SC; two nephews: Lane and Myles Lazzaro of Charleston, SC; his grandparents: Janice Windrow; two uncles, Stephen Thompson, of West Palm Beach, FL and Jimmy Windrow and his wife, Lynn, of TX; and two aunts: Roberta Rasmussen and Janice Stewart and her husband, Monroe, all of TX; and several cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with a funeral service at 1:00pm, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel.
