Robert Daniel Roetzel
Born: April 7th 1987 – Died: Live Fast. Never Die.
Robert Roetzel was born in Oklahoma City. He traveled more in 31 years than most people would in 131 years. He grew up in Loudonville, Ohio. ROB, aka TANK, aka BOBBY, was a very accomplished motocross racer. He finished 9th at the prestigious Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championship in 2003.
Rob then joined the U.S. Navy. Shortly after he finished boot camp, he graduated SWCC training. SWCC stands for Special Warfare Combat-Crewmen. When Rob deployed his first time to Iraq, he and his boat guys captured…well, let’s just say a lot of bad guys. Once he retired from the military, he went on to do another extraordinary career. He became a security contractor, where he met some more brothers that he loved and vice versa.
Seventeen deployments later, he still rocked the world while with his family in South Carolina. Everyone looked up to Robert. He never took credit for his accomplishments; instead he helped others before himself.
No amount of words or stories will be able to show how incredible this man was. The Man, The Myth, The Legend.
