Robert Arthur Turner, Jr.

Robert "Robbie" A. Turner, Jr. 42, of Mount Pleasant, SC, passed away on January 24th, 2025, in Mount Pleasant.

The visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 1520  Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at Stella Maris Catholic Church, 1204 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. 

Robbie was born at the Charleston Naval Hospital to Robert and Catherine (O'Toole) Turner on July 9th, 1982. He graduated from Bishop England High School where he discovered his love for wrestling.

For the last six years he worked in the Stevedoring Division as a crane and equipment operator for Carver Maritime, recently running some of their newest assets. He was described as an incredible mentor and new hires in his division raved about him being the reason they made it to 90 days. He was very proud of his role as a foreman.

His favorite pastimes were fishing or working on cars with his father. He loved being with his extended family in the Charleston Area, especially his grandfather, John Lawrence O'Toole and uncle, Matthew Lawrence O'Toole.

Robbie is preceded in death by his father Robert Arthur Turner, Sr.

Robbie is survived by his mother, Catherine (O'Toole) Turner; his brother, Ryan Reed Turner; aunts; uncles and cousins too numerous to list.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ Our King Catholic Church, referencing the Robert Turner, Jr. Memorial, either by a check mailed to the parish office at 1149 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 or via Venmo at @christourkingmtpl.
