Robert A Hoffman (Bob), 69, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, formerly of Blue Bell, PA, passed into eternity, Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Herbert and Emily (Bohus) Hoffman.
Bob graduated from Temple University with a BFA degree and a M. Ed from Pennsylvania State University. He taught art for 27 years in Springfield Township in the Montgomery County, PA school district. Bob was an avid Grateful Dead fan and enjoyed painting as a hobby. He always had a dog by his side.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Eileen (Pastor); daughter, Jessica, and her husband Michael Zoltanski of Summerville; son, Brian, and his wife Sara of Hatfield, PA; grandchildren Nolan, Chase & Nora Mae (Jessica & Mike), Daniel (Brian & Sara); his brother Ken and wife Diane of Palm Harbor, FL.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME MT. PLEASANT. A prayer service will be followed by a light reception immediately following at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
