Rita Faye Dubois

Rita Faye Dubois, 68, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024.

Born on February 2, 1956, in Charleston, SC Faye was the daughter of the late Alma Hodge Marks and Willie Marks. 

Faye was a true Southern Belle, who was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing her sons and grandchildren above all. She had a special bond with her father, brother and sister, always placing family at the center of her life. Faye's life was filled with accomplishments, and she recently celebrated the joy of her first great-grandson. If you knew Faye, you knew, if she wasn't shopping, she was cooking or spending time with her friends and loved being at her lake house. 

Faye is preceded in death by her mother, Alma Marks, and her late husband and love of her life, Greg Dubois. 

Faye is survived by her sons, Brian Fowler (Erin) and Jeremy Fowler (Kelli); her father, Willie Marks; brother, Michael Marks; sister, Patty Lanham; granddaughters, Cassidy Lucas (Ben), Julia Fowler and Rayne Dallimonti; and great-grandson, Bowen Lucas. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley. 

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley.
