Richard Sowell

Richard Dean Sowell, 50, of Goose Creek, passed away January 30, 2014. He was a teacher for many years at Cross Elementary School. Richard loved educating children. He is survived by his children, Justin Sowell, Jared Sowell, Kristan Sowell and Kaylee Sowell; granddaughter, Arianna Breaker; sister, Lynn Sowell and brother, Craig Sowell. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ryan White Foundation, 125 Doughty Street, Suite 790, Charleston, SC 29403.
