Richard R. Lewchuk

Richard Raymond Lewchuk, 83, of Detroit, MI died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was born on Monday, June 29, 1931 in Detroit, MI to the late Ms. Edna Stris and the late Mr. James Lewchuk. Richard was U.S. Navy Aviation Veteran, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, and retired from PPG Industries. He is survived by his loving wife Christine Lewchuk, of Mount Pleasant, SC; one daughter, Paula Heinauer, of Sullivans Island, SC; one son, Kurt Lewchuk, of Wilmington, NC; and four grandchildren, Adam Heinauer, Lauren Barber, Jonathon Lewchuk, Erin Lewchuk; many nieces, nephews and loving friends. A memorial will be held in his honor at Mepkin Abbey at a date to be announced. Memorial donations may be made to Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.
