Richard Matthew Keenum

Richard Matthew Keenum, 70, of Summerton, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

He was born on April 23, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late Bessie Busalacchi Keenum and the late Turner L. Keenum, Jr.

Richard enjoyed golfing, gambling and a good Cuban cigar. He loved to go fishing, especially around the lakes.

His family will remember him as a free spirit.
He is survived by his children: Richard Huggins, Katherine Garcia and David Keenum; two stepchildren: Tracy Geuea and Scott Rush; sisters: Mary Lowe-Murphy and Sharon Lockey; brothers: Charles Keenum and Ernest Keenum; four grandsons; three nieces and five nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, with a rosary at 4:00 PM, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Boulevard, Charleston, SC 29407.
